1、 Look at the surface.

The plastic sheath of regular electronic wire is soft and smooth, with uniform color. The surface shall also be printed with several contents on the product certificate, such as certification number, model, rated voltage, executive standard, factory name, etc. At the same time, the handwriting should be clear and not easy to erase.

2、 Look at the label.

The contents of the production certificate of a regular manufacturer include model and specification, executive standard, rated voltage, wire length, production date, manufacturer, inspector, factory name, factory address, fixed telephone, etc. Labels of counterfeit products are often not clearly printed or the printed content is incomplete.

3、 Tear the insulation.

High quality insulating materials have certain mechanical strength and softness, and cannot be easily torn. Inferior ones can be torn or pinched by hand.

4、 Look at the burning.

The specified insulating layer has certain flame retardancy. Peel off the insulating layer and ignite with a lighter. Spontaneous combustion after leaving the open fire is a poor quality line.

5、 Try bending.

One head is bent repeatedly by hand. It feels soft, has good fatigue resistance, has large hand elasticity of plastic or rubber, and has no cracks in the wire insulator. It is an excellent product. The insulation layer of inferior wire looks very thick, but it is actually made of recycled plastic. If you press it with a little force, the pressed place will turn white, and the wire will be broken if it is bent for 4~6 times.

6、 Look at the copper wire.

The color of high-quality copper wire is bright red, and the color of low-quality copper core wire is purple black, black, yellow or white, with high hardness. For multiple flexible wires, touch the top of the copper wire with your palm, feeling flat, without tingling, and soft. Otherwise, it is inferior wire.

7、 Check thickness

Cut off the insulating layer and check whether there are visible pores on the section of the insulating layer and whether the wire core is located in the middle of the insulating layer. Not in the middle is due to the eccentric phenomenon caused by the low extraction technology. The air hole indicates that the insulation material used is unqualified. Serious eccentricity is most likely to cause leakage at the thin side, and the air hole also affects the withstand voltage strength.
